Partnerships

What types of partnership are there?

IBEX Ed offers different types of partnership levels dependent on what your goals and current status are.

Reseller Partner

Reseller partners relationships are aimed at organizations that want to deliver high-quality training as an offering but do not need a direct relationship with an examining institute or the costs and overheads that are associated with the relationship. As an IBEX Ed reseller, the partners will only be able to sell official IBEX Ed courses that are run by an approved IBEX Ed sponsored trainer, using IBEX Ed materials and having the exams administered through an IBEX Ed authorized exam administrator.

Reseller partners will have to market all associated courses as provided in association with IBEX Ed and can use the training powered by the IBEX Ed logo and accredited IBEX Ed reseller logo. Resellers will not be allowed to use the exam institutes, scheme providers, or official course logos under this scheme relationship.

Education Partner

Education partner relationships are aimed at organizations that want to be able to market their courses as their own accredited organization, use the accredited affiliate designation within their marketing. An education partner will have a direct relationship with an EI and can book their own exams via their respective EI, however, all exam billing, sponsorship of trainers, and management of the EI will come under IBEX Ed as the primary ATO.

The education partner relationship, gives the partner greater control over how they can market their courses, however comes with associated EI and scheme owner fees. Education partners will have full access to all fully branded courseware that they are accredited to use from IBEX Ed.

ATO Partner

ATO Partner relationships are aimed at established training and consulting organizations that want to have full control over their training environment, and leverage on lower direct billing exam prices for their training courses.

As an ATO partner, a full direct relationship will be set up with the respective EI’s, and IBEX Ed will produce a certificate to show that the partner will be using fully accredited materials for their courses. The ATO partner will have full control over their own trainers, proctors, and administrators and will work from their own internal QMS. With a direct relationship with the EI’s the ATO partner can use the ATO logos and not have to reference IBEX Ed in their marketing materials. This option gives the partner the most control, however comes with the greatest cost.

How long does the partnership process take?

The time it takes to become an IBEX Ed partner is dependent on a number of factors.

  1. What type of partnership you are looking for
  2. What level of Exam Institute agreement you are requiring

On average it takes between 5 and 15 working days, dependent on the timely collection and submission of the required documents.

Do I need an accredited trainer?

If you are wanting to deliver an accredited course and offer exams you will need to comply with three rules:

  2. The courseware is accredited (all IBEX Ed courseware is accredited)
  3. The trainer delivering the course is accredited to teach the course (trainer accreditation options available)

If you are planning on just delivering a workshop for either knowledge or to support accredited e-Learning, you will not have to have an accredited trainer (even though we would still recommend this).

As an ATO can I use your courseware?

Yes indeed.

As ATO Partner relationships are aimed at established training and consulting organizations that want to have full control over their training environment, and leverage on lower direct billing exam prices for their training courses.

Courseware

What are the courseware delivery formats?

IBEX Ed offers three main delivery formats for all of our courses to ensure you can pick an option that suits you and your customer the best.

Premium books provide a physical book, which is fully bound, full-color interior with a color cover.

Standard books provide a physical book, which is fully bound, black and white interior with a color cover.

Digital books are color soft copies of the standard press book, delivered through a secure system with access for 90 days.

What is typically included within a student manual?

The student manual comes in a standard format. This is done so the instructor will always know how the course and manual are structured; this makes it easy for trainers to cross multiple course titles and subjects. The student manual includes a copy of each slide used in the training course, along with the notes below each slide. The manuals also include classroom exercises; all foundation courses also have a section called ‘buzz exercises’, which are short, attention focusing activities to drive home key messages.

The instructor pack comes with copies of the latest practice exams, syllabus, and glossary (where available), which can be printed for course candidates, or distributed as soft copies.
